Loren R. Taylor, CEO and President of University of Illinois Alumni Association Visited Our School

On the afternoon of Sept. 20, 2016, Loren R. Taylor, CEO and President of University of Illinois Alumni Association visited our school. Mr. Taylor gave a lecture to students and teachers of International Class after he visited Gymnasium, Science & Technology Hall, Teaching Building and International Department.
During the lecture, Mr. Taylor made a brief introduction to University of Illinois and focused on the top ten specialties. He said that many excellent Chinese students had been enrolled by University of Illinois and encouraged our students to apply for University of Illinois. Mr. Taylor described the qualities needed for applying the university in detail, stressed that both examination results and comprehensive qualities are taken into consideration and suggested our students to take active part in social activities and achieve overall development.

During his lecture, Mr. Taylor congratulated Doctor Zhang Bo on his successful global flight, who is the alumnus of University of Illinois and the High School Attached to NWNU, spoke highly of Zhang Bo and encouraged the students to have deep love for their Alma Mater, be proud of it and share their achievements with it.
