The High School Affiliated to NWNU Signed Friendly Cooperation Agreement with Brockenhurst college

In the morning of November 1st, Paul, the head of the International Department of Brockenhurst college which is a top public school in Britain, accompanied with others, came to visit the high school affiliated to NWNU. Together with the officers in our school, including JiaJinyuan, the headmaster, Jing Xiaomin, the vice-president, Sun Liang, the head of International Office in our school and others, they had meetings where they discussed and interchanged opinions on the cooperation issues of two schools. Finally, both sides signed friendly cooperation agreement.
In line with the agreement, both sides agreed to be partners and sister schools and on the following items:to carry out exchange visits for teachers and students as well as other relevant activities of cooperative education;to implement the Plans of Jointly Cultivating Talents by two schools which aims to assist students from the high school affiliated to NWNU who finished A-level learning in entering the top universities of the Russell Group and choosing their career;finally, to promote cooperation on multiple programs such as the learning and training and distance learning of summer and short-term A-level courses, teacher visits as well as double degree scheme.
Brockenhurst college is one of the top public schools in Britain with a long history of a hundred year since its foundation in 1913. It was frequently appraised as “outstanding” school by the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills (Ofsted), and honored with “IBM Beacon Awards” by the Britain government, for highly affirmed its high quality of education and management. In 2011, Di Roberts, the head of Brockenhurst college, was honoured with Order of the British Empire by the queen of the UK, who awarded her the blue ribbon personally in Buckingham Palace.
