Students from Beichen Class Attended the First National Humanities and Social Science Research Exchange for Teenagers

The first National Humanities and Social Science Research Exchange for Teenagers was held in Beijing from July 19th to July 22nd 2018. Three students standing out from the rigorous selection, respectively Zhang Yazhi, Zhao Ruijia and Yang Mingxuan, from Grade one, Beichen Class of the High School Attached to NWNU, were invited to attend the exchange.
This activity for research exchange was organized by High School Education Professional Commission of CSE (The Chinese Society of Education), co-organized by Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and School of Humanities, Tsinghua University and hosted by Beijing No.5 High School. At the registration stage, students from 45 famous high schools around the country submitted their papers, schools including Beijing No.4 High School, Tsinghua University High School, the High School Affiliated to Beijing Normal University, the High School Attached to NWNU, Hangzhou No.2 High School of Zhejiang Province, the High School Attached to Northeast Normal University and so on, with the paper theme covering many fields, such as Chinese and foreign literature, politics, economics, history and laws. After these papers were reviewed by the committee panel, 100 students were finally invited to come to Beijing participating in the exchange activity.
During a few days’ activity, the three students fully demonstrated their good humanity accomplishment and high level of research ability. They have acquired new knowledge and their horizons have been broadened. More importantly, their abilities in academic research have been improved further.
