On the invitation of ASDAN China, Qi Shiqing, Director of International Department of the High School Attached to NWNU attended the ASDAN Teachers’ Conference held in Beijing from 19th Sep. to 20th Sep. 2015.
The conference mainly concentrated on the implementation and identification of international quality education activities for students. On the afternoon of 19th, Sep., Doctor Roger White, Founder of ASDAN and the former CEO made an introduction to ASDAN, its standard and certificate for quality education system, programs for international quality education and teaching resources of disciplines as well as specialized support and resources for school teachers. On the morning of 20th Sep., Liao Wang, Chief-director of ASDAN China, shared cases and methods related to international quality education of ASDAN China successfully carried out. The conference witnessed the sharing and exchanges of some international quality education experience among participates.

ASDAN(British Education for All around Development Certification Center) is authorized by Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) and Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS), aiming at providing leadership development courses and extracurricular activities certification for middle school students all over the world. At present, 200,000 students from 6,000 schools around the world participate in varieties of quality education programs organized and certificated by ASDAN every year. Numerous students from our school have taken part in ASDAN programs and obtained credit certificate of UCAS. The conference contributed to further improving our cooperation with ASDAN and providing better service for teachers and students in the International Department. More outstanding quality education teachers shall be cultivated with specialized knowledge so as to provide more reasonable and diversified quality education programs for our school students.
