Vice-president Gou Xiaofeng Visited the Academician Chai Tianyou Who’s a Famous Alumnus of Our School

On September 26th, 2016, on behalf of the High School Affiliated to NWNU, vice-president Gou Xiaofeng, teachers Du Hongbao and GaoWeizong went to Northeastern University for visiting the academician Chai Tianyou, who’s the internationally famous expert in automatic control, the well-known alumnus of our school as well as the chief instructor of “Changxu” program implemented in our school.
The academician Chai engaged in the laboratory set an appointment on time with vice-president Gou and his retinues. On behalf of the high school, Mr. Gou expressed the regards of teacher’s day and heartfelt wishes to Mr. Chai, appreciated for Mr. Chai’s assumption as the chief tutor of the classof “Changxu” program, and also delivered to Mr. Chai a letter from all the students of 2018 session of engineering class. During the talks, Mr. Chai expresses his concern and support for the alma mater, put forward constructive suggestions on the training mode, curriculum development and activities for engineering experimental class. Particularly, he made guidances and specific arrangements for Northeastern University of how to guide and support the special lectures of engineering class of the High School Affiliated to NWNU, as well as for issues related to the activity that the students go to the automatic laboratory in Northeastern University for experience and the building of automatic laboratory in our school. Finally, vice-president Gou invited Mr. Chai for the School’s anniversary which will be held next year.
On that day, Mr. Gou and the other teachers also interviewed the Admission Office in Northeastern University. During the talks, both sides reached agreement with intentionality on matters of cooperation, such as the basement construction for outstanding graduates of Northeastern University, China’s famous university and college gallery construction, Creator’s Laboratory Center in our school, scientific experiencing camp and setting up special curriculums.
