A Ceremony to Mark the Construction of Student Apartment Building was Held in the High School Attached to NWNU

In the morning of July 6th 2019, the construction of the new apartment buildings for students kicked off as scheduled in the High School Attached to NWNU and several leaders attended the opening ceremony and made speeches respectively, including Jia Jinyuan, Principal of the High School Attached to NWNU, Zhang Guohu, Chairman and Secretary of Party Committee of Gansu Jiantou Construction Co., Ltd. and Yan Kai, the Deputy General Manager of Gansu Construction Supervision Co., Ltd. The opening ceremony was attended by many other important people, such as Liu Guocai, Vice-principal and Secretary of Party Committee of the High School Attached to NWNU, Sun Kangcai, Deputy General Manager of Gansu Jiantou Construction Co., Ltd., Gou Xiaofeng and Jing Xiaomin, Vice-principals and Zhou Aizu, Vice-Secretary of Party Committee of the High School Attached to NWNU, directors of the relative offices of the high school, members of Student Apartment Quality Supervision Team, teacher representatives, all the managers involved in the project supervision as well as officers from different offices of Gansu Jiantou Construction Co., Ltd. The ceremony was presided over by Liu Guocai, Vice-principal and Secretary of Party Committee of the High School Attached to NWNU.
As pointed in his speech made by Principal Jia Jinyuan, the newly-built student apartments of the High School Attached to NWNU aim at improving the living conditions for boarding students and boarding quality, making dormitories play as the home for students of different minorities, regions, family backgrounds and living conditions, the platform for cultural exchanges and places for the high school students to enjoy beauty, acquire knowledge and pursue excellence. By living in such an environment, the boarding students are able to gain knowledge through colourful boarding culture, to grow up by being open and inclusive, to produce positive energies through mutual helps, to sublimate the spirit in the exploration and argumentation, to enhance harmony by coordination and compromise and to embrace the world through career planning. The newly-built apartments will definitely bring new opportunities to the improvement of boarding qualities of the high school students and the boarding management level of the high school, providing a major boost for the education development and the construction of high-quality material environment in the High School Attached to NWNU. Jia stressed that Gansu Jiantou Construction Co., Ltd should strictly follow the engineering construction process with the guidance policy that the quality of construction engineering is the first. The apartments should be constructed safely, precisely, scientifically and effectively in a civilized way with a fine management of every process, ensuring the construction could be completed and put into use as planned and trying to make the apartment construction a sample project with high standard and quality. At last, Jia also hoped that Gansu Construction Supervision Co., Ltd and the high school’s Apartment Quality Supervision Team could adhere to the engineering supervision standards, pay much emphasis on the supervision of details and process monitoring so that the construction could be completed effectively with high quality.
Zhang Guohu, Chairman and Secretary of Party Committee of Gansu Jiantou Construction Co., Ltd. said that the company shall form the powerful management teams equipped with various managing staffs and technicians and strictly organize the project according to the construction specifications and processes as well as the quality system standard. Meanwhile, great efforts shall be made to promote the project as the “Best Project” and “Party Member Demonstration Project”.
Yan Kai, the Deputy General Manager of Gansu Construction Supervision Co., Ltd. also expressed that their company shall fulfill their duties responsibly according to the features of the project and the specific conditions of the construction site on the basis of the current national regulations.
