From Sep. 28th to 29th 2019, the 2019 Cambridge Assessment International Education Professional Training for Teachers was held in ShenZhen Fuyuan British American School, which was mainly organized by Cambridge Assessment International Education. Qi Shiqing and Wang Zhiqiang, two teachers from the International Department of the High School Attached to NWNU respectively attended the A-level training in Chinese and maths subjects.
In the two-day training courses, the two teachers learned about the new exam outlines of subjects in Chinese and maths as well as the assessment requirements of Cambridge International. Besides, they also conducted good communication and in-depth discussions with other teachers present in several aspects such as teaching ideas and methods, fruitful results being produced in innovation of subjects and teaching methods.
Since the high school established its Cambridge Courses Center, relevant teachers have been sent out every year to participate in some official training and workshops, which is beneficial to improving not only the high school’s teaching and research level concerning Cambridge courses continuously but also the high school’s international education standard in a further way.
