Teachers from the International Department Participate in 2015 Spring Workshop for AP Teachers and Administrators in Suzhou, China

Zhang Zhitian, deputy director of the International Department of the High School Attached to NWNU and several of the teachers participated in the 2015 Spring Workshop for AP Teachers and Administrators in Suzhou province from Mar.6 to 9, 2015, which was organized by the American College Board.
The subjects provided are as follows:
AP calculus lectured by Lin McMullin and Tim Zitur, AP economy by Sally Meek, AP psychology by Kay Minter, AP social science and geography by Ann Linsley, AP statistics by Martin Sternstein, Pre AP English and writing by Rebecca McFarlan, AP English and writing by Rebecca McFarlan and Phyllis Wright and AP administrator training by Carol Choong.
Four teachers from four different subjects were chosen to attend the classes of AP psychology, AP social science and geography, Pre AP English and writing and AP English and writing respectively, and the first three of which were lectured for the first time in Asia.
Teachers of fourteen AP subjects of our school participated in the workshop organized by College Board and obtained qualifications, which was a great improvement in the curriculum construction and teachers capability of our school. The fourteen AP subjects were AP biology, AP calculus, AP chemistry, AP English and writing, AP macroeconomics, AP microeconomics, AP social science and geography, AP physics, AP psychology, AP American history and AP statistics.
