Principal Jia Jinyuan made a report to Du Zhanyuan, Deputy Minister of Education on Informatization Construction in the High School Attached to NWNU

On December 13, 2015, Principal Jia Jinyuan and Vice-Principal Jing Xiaomin had a meeting with the alumnus of the High School Attached to NWNU Zhang Bo, member of school board of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. During the meeting, they had a discussion about Zhang Bo’s plan to fly a single-engine plane around the world and the participation of our school in the plan. A preliminary agreement has been reached that a conference will be held when Zhang Bo has a stop in Lanzhou City. Specific plans will be made in the first month of 2016.
Afterwards, Principal Jia Jinyuan made a report to Du Zhanyuan, Deputy Minister of Education on Informatization Construction of our school. Du Zhanyuan made an introduction to the proposal that every school should have the access to the broadband network, every class should have the access to excellent resource and every person should have the access to internet learning space and that every teacher should be proficient in one particular curriculum and there should be at least one excellent teacher for every curriculum. He also introduced the informatization of school management, fully recognized the idea of internet plus education and informatization of our school and expressed his hope for our school to play a leading role in nformatization construction in Gansu Province.
