A Friendship and Cooperation Agreement Signed Between Chapel Field Christian High School and the High School Attached to NWNU

On April 27th 2016, John Liu, Vice Principal of Chapel Field Christian High School of USA visited our school and had a discussion on the cooperation issues between the two schools in a deep way. After the meeting, a friendship and cooperation agreement had been signed.
According to the agreement, both schools hope that the capability of running schools and reputation of both schools shall be enhanced respectively through establishing cooperation in multiple fields so as to promote the scholarly sharing and communication as well as to improve the international exchange and understanding between Chinese students and American ones. Both parties had reached a consensus on many aspects concerning school-running in a cooperative way, dual-diploma program, staff exchange and students’ short-term learning in summer schools after a deep communication.
The Chapel Field Christian High School of USA, located in the beautiful Orange County in the suburb of New York, which is set up by William Spanjer III, a famous American philanthropist, is regarded as one of the most beautiful high school campuses in America with an area of more than 600 Mu. Its outstanding teaching quality and a deep sense of humanistic care make it the priority private school for the local elite families living in New York. With the proportion of international students controlled only within 10%, it is recognized as the most pure private school in the United States. Since its establishment, numbers of its graduates have been admitted by top universities all over the world, such as Harvard, Yale, Cornell, Cambridge, University of California Berkeley, University of Pennsylvania, West Point and so forth, with a stable ratio of over 40%. Every year, the Chapel Field intends to admit a few foreign students who are quite outstanding and provide the most genuine and excellent American high school education for those students. Besides, the school has been certified by the three high school certification systems with the highest authority in America, respectively, Certification of Global Leaders for Elite Education, Certification of State University of New York Commission and Certification of National Honor Students League. In 2014, it has been rated as one of the top 50 best schools all around the United States by TheBestSchools, the most authoritative institution about the rankings of high schools, compared with other thousands of private Christian schools. It is the only school in the State of New York that has entered the rankings.
During the discussion, our principal Jia Jinyuan made an introduction to the development of international education in our school, including the education scale, faculty, curriculum, society activities and achievements. John spoke highly of what we have achieved and both sides are looking forward to further cooperation in more fields.
