Our Teachers Attended the National Thematic Forum on Growth of Teaching Researchers and Heads of Teaching and Research Groups from Primary and High Schools

From September 26th to 29th ,2018, eleven teachers of the High School Attached to NWNU went to Dalian to attend the National Thematic Forum on Growth of Teaching Researchers and Heads of Teaching and Research Groups from Primary and High Schools including Li Shuangyi, Qi Linwei, Wang Wei, Tian Zexing, Li Shun, Wang Mingtao, Chen Lu, Li Zhenxu, Fu Yu, Zhang Kun and Zhao Jin, who are heads of teaching and research groups in many subjects, such as Chinese, Math, Foreign language, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Politics, History, Geography, IT, Art, Music, PE. The event was jointed organized by the Beijing Teaching and Education Research Institute, the National Elementary and Middle Schools Teacher Studio Development Practice of the Committee of Experts and the National Federation of Outstanding Teachers, aiming at further enhancing the organization and management abilities, research and professional guiding abilities of teaching researchers, school leaders mainly in charge of teaching, heads of research and teaching groups and heads of lesson preparation groups. Over 500 teachers all over the country attended the forum.
Six experts have been invited to give seven superb presentations in profoundness and meaningfulness, attaching much importance to frontier issues and practice, opening the eyes of the teachers at the forum and benefiting them a lot. The reports given covered The Primary Methods and Norms for Project Work, The Exploration on the Construction of Teaching and Research Groups, Transformation and Innovation of Teaching Behaviors Against the Background of Core Qualities of Teachers, Creativity and Practice of School-based Teaching and Research, New Paths for Teachers in Professional Growth, On Core Qualities of Teachers and Curriculum Construction, Value Judgment and Ways Selection of Classroom Transformation.
Teaching quality is the driving force for school development and the development of teachers works as the fundamental guarantee for the school prosperity. In recent years, under the guidance of development ideas of “the teaching and management going hand in hand” and “the trinity of teaching, research and management”, the high school has paid great attention to the construction of teaching and research groups, the achievement of teaching results and the professional growth of teachers. Under the background of new form of college entrance examination and the reform of new curriculum and strongly advocating the cultivation of Chinese students’ key qualities, it is believed that the forum can provide new ideas, methods, experience and wisdom for reference, helping to promote the teaching standard and development of teachers in the high school attached to NWNU.
